Fantastic Faucets

Aug 13, 2023Aug 13, 2023

One of the many elements of the kitchen that has transitioned from utilitarian to showstopping is the workhorse of the space – the kitchen faucet. A fitting that rarely got a second thought in the past, it has become design centerpiece. But beyond its beauty, faucet manufacturers are constantly upping their game when it comes to their functional design.

Among the latest kitchen faucet offerings are those that respond to touchless or voice commands, and provide water savings while doing it. They double as filtered stations to provide healthier drinking water, and can now sport PVD finishes that prevent tarnishing as well as dirt and water depositing.

On the aesthetic side, finishes range from colorful to warm to matte black, allowing them to be a carefully considered decorative element in the overall design. Once just chosen for their functionality, kitchen faucets are now a thoughtful element that can reflect personality and add a custom touch to a space. Pullouts, pulldowns, single lever, spring loaded and articulating designs are all garnering attention, delivering both beauty and function to the oft-used space.

Following are just a few of the trends being talked about in kitchen faucet design:
