A PAIR OF DIY pros have revealed how they transformed a dirty builder's van into their dream motorhome - and now spend every day exploring the UK.

People were left stunned when Meg and Chloé revealed how they spent just £7k giving their secondhand van, now named Reggie, a serious glow-up over the course of three months.

Now the white van is fully kitted out with a sunroof, double bed, full-sized shower, oven, and a sofa that doubles up as their dining table.

They said: "Whilst working full time we spent every spare minute over 14 weeks to build our dream van life, and now we spend the majority of our time traveling around the country seeing amazing things."

During the 18-second reel, the pair shared how they transformed the former builder's van into a home on wheels.

First, they ripped out shelving inside, before giving the bulkhead a good clean.

The pair then built a wooden base, on top of which would sit their bed, kitchen cabinets, and storage units.

Their focus then turned to the kitchen and bathroom, the shell of both made from wooden battens and MDF sheets bought on the cheap.

Meg and Chloé then covered the roof and floor in stick-on vinyl tiles, and before giving the interior a fresh lick of paint and adding some boho accessories.

In the comments, the pair confirmed the entire project cost them around £20,000, including the price of the secondhand van.

They added: "We spent around 7k on the conversion but we have things that not everyone will need... like an off-grid hot water system, big solar setup etc."

Since completing the renovation, the pair have already had a day trip to Yorkshire.

Fans loved their savvy DIY, with the transformation gaining more than 14,300 likes and 705,900 views.

Known online as @reggie_van_relay, the pair plan to keep their 3,700 followers updated on their adventures.

TikTokkers shared their reactions in the comments, with one writing: "This is unreal!!! I want to do this."
